History

The Hong Kong Association for Infant Mental Health Limited (HKAIMH) was established in December 2014 as a company limited by guarantee in Hong Kong. The Founders of the Association are a group of professionals, which include clinical psychologists, educational psychologist, psychiatrists, pediatricians, occupational therapist, and psychiatric nurse. They are all clinicians working directly with infants/young children and their families in the daily clinical practice.

The Association was granted exemption from tax under Section 88 of the Inland Revenue Ordinance as a charity institution in January 2015. The financial management of the Association mainly relies on the membership fee and the sponsorships from various Foundations.
